researcher · medicine & data
Hi, I'm Danya. I work with data, requirements, and people: from population-based studies to building the HIS.
Clinical research, health-data analytics, and evidence-based practice — between Scandinavia Clinic in Saint Petersburg and doctoral work in Tampere.
About
Researcher, epidemiologist, and business analyst with experience across a clinic, a university, and an international publisher. My focus: quality of care, register and population data, research-impact assessment, digital processes in medicine, and putting evidence-based approaches into practice.
I develop the clinic's healthcare information system while doing doctoral research at Tampere University — studying type 2 diabetes among migrant and native Finnish populations through national registers. I teach scientometrics at the university, design patient pathways with the team, and build the analytics.
I care about turning routine health data into evidence teams can actually act on — and explaining it in plain language.
